To become an amateur radio operator you must pass a test that is administered by a team of at least 3 Volunteer Examiners. There are 35 questions on the Technician and General tests, and 50 questions on the Amateur Extra test. You need to have 74% or greater correct on each test to pass. In Oklahoma, we have a number of opportunities to take these tests each month.
